• Mersea Island away weekend, 28/29 September

We will be going to Mersea Island (Nr Colchester, Essex) over the weekend 28/29 September with an option for the 27th for those who want to stay over for 2 nights.  Note that although the Island is err... an island, it is accessible by road at most times. It may however be necessary to avoid high tides during arrival or departure! We have located a hash contact for information about the island and possible hash trails.  And we have done some research and identified the following for accommodation. The first one looks ideal and not expensive. 

1)  Coopers Beach Mersea Island 
2) Away resorts Mersea Island

The two sites are about 3.5 miles apart but with Coopers nearer to pubs etc. 
We would advise those intending to go to book earlier rather than later to ensure a wider choice and guarantee of accommodation. 
Also can we ask those attending to please let us know so that we have some idea of numbers.

• Friends of the Mole Hash,  Sunday 22nd September 

Friends of the Mole has sent us an open invitation to its hash on Sunday 22nd 11:00 from the Hemsted Forest Carpark in Benenden TN17 4AN.
The On Inn will be at the Bull TN17 4DE.

• EGH3 1500th Run Celebration Weekend, Oct 19 - 20

​ EGH3 is celebrating its 1500th Hash with runs and a party in October - and we are all invited!
The event includes Run, Sip Stop, 3-Course Evening Meal, Live Band, Dancing and Accommodation - plus Breakfast Run, Sip Stop and Lunch the following day. 
And it will be held at Worth School, Turners Hill, Sussex, RH10 4SD
