We went out for our Autumn 2002 Hash social event, to the Little Bay in South Croydon. Glyn and Verena are the handsome couple in the front.

Featuring Ray, Mary and Sue.

Judy and David get fed up and go to sleep. Ed is lurking on all pics, natch.

The next day, and it's a hangover hash at Merstham Park. Here we are, waiting for the keen ones to check out the route, and introducing Sue, our newbie.
Ed tried to take a couple of "family photos" before we set off, but unfortunately failed dismally, so twiddle your thumbs for a second or two.

Here we are in action, stringing out up a hill. The succession of rear views include Sue Cousins

New Sue!

Mark Archer. Notice the glorious weather, only a couple of days short of October. Hot, too.

In August 2002, a group of us went on the London Eye, and on to a meal in a nice Turkish restaurant.

Saturday 13th October 2001 was the Man v Horse (William) Hill Marathon in Llanwyrtyd Wells. A much depleted OCH3 contingent took part, after the event was postponed from June, due to foot and mouth disease. Here is Mark Archer (running incognito as Bob Fever) striding manfully over the finish line, in comfortably under 5 hours...

...whilst Richard and I (Liz Davies) limped in 3rd from last in 5 hours 12 minutes. (We were doing fine until the last leg, averaging 5 miles an hour; then Richard started getting cramp and my legs went, and we were running (well moving) on pain and determination from there on. We overtook the man who finished behind us, when he took a short lie down on the last mile, moaning "I'm ab-so-lute-ly shattered", and the wooden spoon couple staggered in 20 minutes later. So I don't feel too ashamed.
