6th April found us in Horley. This group brightened an otherwise grey day with their sartorial "elegance".

30th March 2003, we were on on from Limpsfield Chart, under orders from Hare Captain Solo.

We had a lovely day and nice clear views.

Spring has sprung, and I spotted the first bluebell of the season to prove it. At this point I got somewhat carried away, and wandered off topic to photograph aconites, primroses, violets, narcissi, celandine and a bit of Hash spring flour, but I don't insist on you ploughing through those.... see them on my personal pages.

Christine just moved in the way of my catching a photo of Anna with her hand up Bob's shorts.

Anna was duly punished anyway, in the post-hash circle, even without the incriminating evidence. She was giving him treatment for a bad leg, she said. A likely story, guest RA Vulcan thought.

But I'm jumping ahead. Back to the woods.

"Why are you seated, with a smug expression, Mr Hare?" "I'm just waiting for them to come back from that false trail I sent them on."

And sure enough, here they come back. A chance for a front view for your Hash Flash, to make a change.

And we're saved again. [from being lost forever, trying to find our way back to civilisation, which is my constant dread, having zero sense of direction!] We're welcomed by the sight of Dave's lovely old S type Jag -

- which soon attracted a bunch of admirers. Dave opened the bonnet

and they all dived in!

Here's poor Katie, one of the Hash Hounds, feeling sad and sorry after her hip operation. Aw, bless!

2nd March 2003, OCH3 ran in the pretty village of Leigh (in Surrey, not to be confused with Leigh in Kent, where my ancestors lived.)

There were some lovely half timbered cottages next to the church.

We had our own "religious ceremony" when "Proxy" was baptised with his hash handle.
